Helping your little stars shine their brightest

The Kids Practice is a General Paediatric Clinic with offices in Burwood and Bella Vista, Sydney. We help kids with a wide range of paediatric conditions, from birth through to 16 years of age. This allows us to form long-term relationships with you and your child as we work together to help them flourish.

Our in-depth consultations enable us to gain a genuine understanding of your child’s individual needs, so that we can create a holistic treatment plan that supports your child’s continued wellbeing.

He also recently completed a role as the Director of Advanced Training in General Paediatrics at CHW, where he supervised and supported future generations of paediatric doctors towards the completion of their training.

Rachel Pinto
PhD (Immunol), BSc Hons (Microbiol)
– Office Manager, Burwood

Rachel is no stranger to the medical world, being a trained researcher who has worked on designing vaccines against Tuberculosis. She is now a casual academic at the University of Sydney, helping to educate future generations on the importance of understanding and eliminating disease.

The best part of being a practice manager she says is ‘Meeting all the wonderful children and their caring families that come into the clinic.’ We appreciate not only her analytical mind, but her compassionate nature as she continues to help others, making families at our clinic feel welcome, nurtured and supported.

Let’s make good health
universal

At The Kids Practice we believe in supporting individuals and organisations that work to uplift vulnerable children and their families, and create a healthier, better world around us. We are therefore proud to donate 5% of our annual earnings to the following two charities.

Barnardos Australia

Barnardos is a leading child protection charity that believes all children and young people deserve caring families in which they can grow safely and fulfil their potential. Barnardos provides intensive support and practical guidance to struggling families, to keep children and young people safe at home and to stop abuse and neglect from happening in the first place. Last year Barnardos was able to support over 15,000 children, young people and their families in NSW and the ACT.

Palmera Projects, Sri Lanka

Household income is the greatest single determinant of child well-being. Rises in income change household spending habits that benefit children, giving children access to nutritious food, healthcare services, a better education and a brighter future.

That is why, we support rural families to increase their income. When we do this, we change the course of a child's life forever.
