For urgent appointments, we recommend that you contact our second clinic if the first is fully booked. Your follow up appointments can then be scheduled at your preferred location.
Need to cancel your appointment?
Please notify us at least 3 days before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a cancellation fee. This will enable us to provide the appointment to another child in need who is waiting to be seen.
What to bring to your appointment
A referral letter from your GP, hospital or specialist, addressed to Dr Narendran Nadanachandran
Your Medicare card so that we can lodge your medicare rebate on your behalf
Your child’s Blue Book (or equivalent)
Any relevant results or reports from other medical professionals, including developmental assessments and psychometric/IQ assessments
Any other relevant reports including school/day care, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapist, dietician or child psychology reports
Your own notes or questions about your child’s case
How much will it cost?
The fee for your appointment will vary based on the complexity of your child’s health needs. This will be payable in full at the end of your appointment via EFTPOS or credit card.
Initial consultation
$300 or $500 – depending on the number of medical issues being addressed. After the Medicare rebate, your out of pocket expense will decrease to approximately $160-$250.

Follow up appointment
$220 or $300 – depending on the number of medical issues being addressed. After the Medicare Rebate, your out of pocket expense is approximately $150.
(please allow up to 45 minutes)
Please note that failure to attend a scheduled appointment without at least 48 hours’ notice will incur the full fees for that appointment.
Can I claim a rebate?
Please bring your child’s Medicare card and your Medicare card (if your child is less than 12 years of age). Following your consultation we will lodge a Medicare claim on your behalf. If your bank account details are linked to Medicare, your rebate will be deposited directly into your account within five business days.
Please note, private health funds do not cover specialist medical consultations, so we cannot offer HICAPS.
